Define your strategy. What do you want to achieve? This is a serious question.
Lets just talk about Facebook for now….(the same principles apply no matter which platform you wish to use)
Important note – It’s not about getting people to ‘like’ you on your Facebook business page.
It’s about building relationships and getting people to engage with you.
Some people choose to operate from their personal profile page on Facebook and some operate from their fan page.
Pick which one you’d like to master.
Create a presence on both your personal profile and business page, but concentrate more on building relationships with one more than the other. You need to learn what works. I suggest starting with your personal profile. Learn what works as far as what creates engagement with your friends.
It’s about getting people to know, like and trust you.
It’s about brand awareness.
It’s about creating traffic to your website.
It’s really about a lot of things…
