Repurposing your content is well-known, but many agents still don’t do it. If you’re not sure what it means, it’s when you take one piece of content and change, adapt, or shorten it for use across different platforms. It’s about squeezing the maximum possible value out of the content you create.

For example, if you host a one-hour video interview, don’t just view it as an hour-long video. Instead, see it as a goldmine of short-form videos for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. Let’s look at a perfect example – repurposing an interview.

Imagine you’ve just recorded an hour-long interview, delving deep into the intricacies of the local housing market. You’ve captured a significant piece of content, but you realise that its value isn’t just limited to YouTube.

By slicing, dicing, and repackaging your video, you can create loads of fresh content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.

Instagram and Facebook are amazing visual platforms where bite-sized content engages viewers.

To repurpose podcast content for these platforms, extract snippets of valuable insights from your long-form video content. You can use a site called Vidyo.ai to upload an hour-long video, which will automatically slice it into multiple short-form highlights with captions, emojis, etc. It’s phenomenal!

This tool is super handy and can save you a lot of time and money. Social media platforms that thrive on short, engaging, and educational content love it.
Remember that your content needs to be concise, catchy, and to the point.

When you do your own editing, aim for videos that are under one minute in length.
