Yes, I think so.
Yes, I know so.
I’ve always been somebody that believes that we can raise the standards in our industry -it starts one agent at a time.
It starts by saying what we’ll stand for in our place of business.
Standards are set as an individual, collectively as an industry.
I was actually called out at a seminar, for saying that I believe we can change the industry to be more reputable.
Really?
Yes because It starts one Agent at a time.
What I’m talking about in this video, I have spoken about quite often, and I want to start by saying that it doesn’t affect me in the slightest. I don’t list and sell anymore. It does not affect me directly at all!
But it does affect the reputation of a Real Estate agent and the industry collectively.
When an agent lists a property for sale, they could have been working with that vendor for days, months or years.

Can we just respect that another Agent has won the business?

Why cause trouble for the Agent and the seller?

I’m just always surprised. Why can’t agents find their own listings? An agent that is approaching other agents listings that are on the market, especially after for 5 days…. Are not smart or clever.

Instead of being an opportunist of stealing other agents listings, why don’t agents be proactive and help other vendors sell their property?

And when I said in the video to respect the owners choice of listing with an agent, when I mention private for sale owners, we also need to respect that owners choice of selling their property privately.

What we can do, is help that seller sell their house privately. If they don’t know Agent and they don’t sell themselves, they may come back to you.
