How do you work out revenue share?

Welcome to exp Australia revenue share for dummies..

That is an oxymoron because revenue share is something that you can use to build your business in a very strategic and smart way.

Just the same way we are paid for referring say a seller to another agent and we paid a 20% referral which is common practice within real estate, we can also be paid a referral fee for introducing somebody into the company of exp – so somebody who you would like to have on your team – and this is a leadership position –

This is for somebody who wants to build a team around them and have people that they can help and that’s the culture of exp is helping others –

So just say for example you come into exp, you love it – it’s exactly what you want – you’re loving the share options – you’re loving the support and the training you get – you’re loving all the systems that we provide – you’re loving you know that the community the sense of… the spirit that we have – you love that and you know somebody else who is interested in getting into exp – so they can nominate you as their sponsor – so you say to them okay they join underneath you – you are now their sponsor – it’s a leadership position as I said –

You can be paid up to $3,500 a year for every single person that you bring on that nominates you as their sponsor providing they are listing and selling – now that revenue share is paid out of company dollars and doesn’t reduce an agent’s commission so that’s that’s very important to say –

So say this is you- Jenny nominates you as their sponsor – you can be paid up to $3,500 for the year for them and this is reoccurring income that you can actually build so say you finished selling real estate today then your income virtually stops – so this is something you can work on now to make sure that you are okay for your say superannuation or whatever – that you can build a team and work from anywhere in the world and start to build a team of people underneath you –

So just say you have 5 people that nominate you as their sponsor,so they say okay I want to nominate you  – you are paid up to $3,500 for each of those people – now say those people then, in turn, have somebody else nominate them, you can be paid up to $4000 each a year for those people.

This is where it gets interesting – you can actually, if you have 40 people that nominate you as their sponsor –  they’re listing and selling –  they’re performing – you can actually unlock seven levels of income at these rates per person per year providing they’re they’re selling up to $100,000 worth of gci otherwise it’s pro-rata 3.5 per cent of $50,000 or whatever it is –

So you have five people that nominate you as their sponsor on the first level you open up the second level you have 10 people that nominate you as their sponsor on the front line that opens up that level you have 15 people that nominate you up there that opens up that level so you can be paid up to that for all of those people.

I do like a working example here,  so say this is me so say 12 people nominate me as their sponsor – so they’re all listing and selling up to a hundred thousand dollars I can be paid $3 500 a year per person for that and this is reoccurring income that goes into the bank account on the 22nd of every month.

Because I’ve got more than five people that nominate me as their sponsor here, I can unlock my second level because I’ve got more than 10 people that nominate me as a sponsor here and I open up my third level so I can be paid for all of those up to two thousand five hundred dollars,  these ones four thousand dollars – now I don’t have 15 people that have nominated me on there, on my first line, so I’m not paid for that level there so it’s really the incentive to help grow your team and for others to nominate you as their sponsor but also it’s advantageous for you to help people underneath you grow their team as well and support those people within their career.
